Cape Coral High, Class of 1998 Alumni to Reunite – June 21
Ten Year Reunion be held at Char Grillhouse in Fort Myers
FORT MYERS- The Cape Coral High Class of 1998 Reunion Committee is excited to announce that a ten year reunion will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Char Grillhouse located on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers.
“We are thrilled to have Char Grillhouse host our first reunion,” Kelly Koppler, Logistics Chair of the event said. “Char is a brand new establishment and is centrally located. Additionally, because it is attached to the remodeled Holiday Inn, out of town guests will now have easy access to the reunion and a place nearby to stay.”
According to Koppler, reunion committee members wanted to have an event that was “as fun as prom but updated for a matured audience.” Therefore, “Char is the perfect place; Modern but cozy décor and a lounge area for catching up. They also have a large bar and two outdoor patios; it will be able to meet everyone’s expectations.”
Samantha Wallen (Skrzyniarz), class of 1998 Senior Class President and Co-Chair of the event agrees, adding that this is an event that people won’t want to miss. Wallen also encourages all Cape Coral High, class of 1998 alumni to help spread the word about the reunion. “The majority of people are going to find out about this event through word of mouth. We ask all alumni from our class to contact all fellow alumni they still keep in touch with, so that nobody misses out,” she said.
Alumni and guests will enjoy heavy appetizers, a cash bar and music by DJ Franklin. For those interested in purchasing dinner, a full menu will also be available. “Now that we are all getting older and have stressful lives, jobs and other events going on, it will be great to sit back and remember when our biggest worry was whether we would win the Friday football game or get the perfect dress for homecoming or prom,” Jeannie Macchi (Liebegott), a former Cape High cheerleader and fellow class of 1998 Alum said. “I am encouraging everyone to attend the Class of 1998 reunion, as I think it will be a great way to catch up with those whom we lost touch and to see what everyone is up to...oh and have a great time of course!”
Tickets for the event are $40 per person and can be purchased online at http://groups.myspace.com/CapeHigh98Reunion. For more information, contact Marsha Solock Morgenstern, Publicity Chair, at xxx-xxx-xxxx or email xxx@xxx.com.
